Course Description

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a method of understanding how people achieve success in a wide range of areas such as sport, education, management and therapy. In 1974 its developers proposed that NLP would provide users with the tools to analyse incorporate or modify any sequence of behaviour they observed in another human being. These NLP tools involve analysis of a person’s internal and external communication (linguistics) and the effects (programming) this has on the way their brain operates (neurology).

In other words, NLP is about using the language of the mind to consistently achieve our specific and required outcomes, this is what the NLP Diploma course will allow you to explore.

The Level 3 NLP Diploma course is designed to provide you with a knowledge of NLP techniques, allowing therapists to integrate these skills alongside their own toolbox of techniques. Theoretical information is provided throughout the NLP Diploma course, followed by exercises which will enable the learner to practice and incorporate the skills of NLP.

The Health Care Diploma course has been created to give an opportunity for those working in a Care environment to improve their skills to progress in Health and Social Care.

Working in the care sector, you have responsibilities to provide a service to your clients and to recognise and respond safely and effectively to their needs. This course will help you to gain the skills needed to do this and achieve a qualification that recognises your achievement.

This Health Care Diploma is concerned with your role, as a care worker, in identifying ways of communicating on difficult, complex and sensitive issues, in a variety of settings and situations.

You will examine and analyse methods of reflecting on and developing your practice. Increasing your understanding and taking action to enhance your practice are vital to meeting the changing needs of individuals in your care, and the demands of a rapidly advancing health care system.
